It is our great pleasure and honour to invite you to 1st Minimally Invasive Spine Week of Thailand (MISST) Meeting combined with 3rd International Society of Endoscopic Spine Surgery (ISESS) Annual Meeting, which will be held between 5th-8th November 2019, at Chang Mai University and Le Méridien Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
This conference is hosted by Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Club of Thailand (MISSCOT) in collaboration with many international spine societies, such as ISESS, AOSpine, the North America Spine Society (NASS) and the Neurosurgeons Spine Association (NSSA) of India, and local Thai spine societies, such as the Minimally invasive Spine Society of Thailand (MISSST), Thai Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery of Thailand (ThaiMISST), the Royal College of Neurosurgeons of Thailand, and Chiang Mai University.
The full week conference is dedicated to minimally invasively spine surgery- endoscopic and microscopic spinal surgery, and MIS spinal fusion surgery. On 5th and 6th November 2019, there will be a hands-on Regional AOspine cadaveric workshop on minimally invasive spine surgery, comprising of endoscopic and various MIS lumbar fusion training stations, at Cadaveric Surgical Training Centre, Chiang Mai University. This will be followed by two day programme (7th-8th November 2019), including keynote lectures, scientific paper sessions, Live Surgery sessions, and video demonstration on various MIS spinal surgical techniques at Le Méridien Chiang Mai.
This conference aims to bring together spine specialists with a common interest in minimally invasive spinal surgery. Our programme will provide a platform for interactive discussions, broadening of knowledge, sharing of experience with regional and international experts, and discover novel ideas on minimally invasive spine surgery. Apart from academic events, there will be ample opportunities to meet other spine colleagues and experts over socializing events, and to enjoy Chiang Mai’s finest cuisines, experience the breathtaking views from the mountains, and visit many other local attractions, such as elephant riding, hill tribe tours, local night markets, etc.
